An evening of information and tennis takes place on Sunday 26th September at 7.00pm. This event is for members who have joined the club in the past twelve months or who have been on the missing list for quite some time! The first hour is an opportunity for questions and answers with club coach Peter Farell and members of the committee. This will be followed by an American Tournament at 8.00pm for those who wish to participate followed by tea and coffee. Please come prepared to play tennis if you wish to play. Wednesday Evenings:
Rusty Racquets: – 7.30pm – 8.30pm
These classes are suited to improver players hoping to develop confidence and general game technique and skills. It is a five week course starting 22nd September and costs €55.
Next Step Forward: 8.30-9.30pm
These classes are suited for intermediate players and players hoping to participate in club events and advance to the next level. It is a five week course starting 22nd September and costs €55
Thursday Evenings:
Raw Tennis 7.30pm -8.30pm
This classes are suited to starters and newcomers to the game. It will cover basic fundamentals of tactics and technique. It is a five week course starting 23rd September and costs €55.

Thank you to everyone who came along to the Sinnott Autos Ltd Club Championship’s prizegiving ceremony on Saturday night. Congratulations to all the Winners and Runners Up and to all the other participants in each of the 16 events. Wicklow Tennis Club is most appreciative of Sinnott Autos Ltd continued support in sponsoring this event. This was followed by a great BBQ. Special thanks to our chefs Glenn, John and Jeff who cooked all the lovely meat supplied by Cullen’s Butchers and to all of you who made beautiful salads and desserts. Thanks to Norma Elliott who supplied the music and of course to all those who helped in setting up and cleaning up. A great night was had by all.
